Fluff My Life: The Motherfluffer
I established fluff my life mobile grooming to cultivate a grooming experience that materializes education, positive energy and individualized service for both the human client as well as the pet client. As a mobile Pet Stylist, I provide a convenient and unique grooming experience for your pet right in front of your home.
I have been working with all types of animals for as long as I can remember. My husband and I love our pack of misfits and have been involved in rescue for many years. I have experience working in animal shelters as well as working as a Veterinary Assistant. Becoming a Pet Stylist was a natural trajectory in my journey that allows me to continue working with animals and helps feed my creative qualities.
Regardless of the setting, the largest priority has to be safety and well-being, not only safety for the pet but also safety for the stylist. I rely heavily on experience, intuition and a working knowledge of pet behavior to know how to connect with the pet in a way that is as stress free as possible. The mobile grooming environment has a lot to offer in terms of a lower intensity of external stimuli, unless the pet really doesn’t appreciate my taste in music or my singing. Don’t worry, I listen to a lot of different music so I’m sure we can find a compromise. Singing is non-negotiable.
